Minis in a shallow basket
A low basket groups four minis without turning them into a piled mound.
A tray keeps a three-fruit arrangement together at the unused end of an entry bench.
A tray gives the display a clear boundary. The larger fruit at the back lets the small pair remain visible from the room.
The entire composition is temporary whenever the bench is needed; do not ask people to sit around the fruit.
Check how the bench is used during an ordinary arrival home.
Place a washable tray at the spare end without covering the seat completely.
Set the medium pumpkin at the back of the tray.
Add two minis in front with their stems free.
Lift the complete tray away whenever the seat is needed.
A side table is a better choice if the bench is used every day.
Use a shallow dish you already own instead of buying a tray.
Keep the display sheltered and away from direct sun. Check for soft spots, leakage and unstable placement. Remove damaged fruit promptly; painted or carved display fruit is not for eating.
