Minis in a shallow basket
A low basket groups four minis without turning them into a piled mound.
Two small pumpkins and a pot make a low arrangement beside the window.
The window frames the group, so two fruits are enough. The pot supplies a different outline without adding another color family.
Opening the window takes priority over decoration; move the complete group before the handle or curtain touches it.
Open the window first and check the handle and curtain movement.
Put a dry saucer at the wider end of the sill.
Set one small orange pumpkin and one mini white pumpkin on the saucer.
Place the plant beside them, leaving a visible gap rather than hiding the stems.
Check the sill underneath when watering; move the pumpkins if the spot becomes hot or damp.
A narrow sill is better left empty; use a nearby table instead.
An empty pot can replace the plant without changing the two-fruit grouping.
Keep the display sheltered and away from direct sun. Check for soft spots, leakage and unstable placement. Remove damaged fruit promptly; painted or carved display fruit is not for eating.
